An Educational Guide to Shoulder Fracture
Nov 18, 2022
A shoulder fracture is a condition characterized by a crack or break in the shoulder joint formed by the humerus, scapula, and clavicle. The proximal humerus is the commonest site of shoulder fracture. Low-impact injuries in the elderly can result in fractures in the proximal humerus. The risk of fracture increases with bone-related conditions like osteoporosis.
